   EXPO/EXHIBITOR RULES & GUIDELINES

  1. Sampling of products and qualifying of prospects are encouraged. Sales are permitted in all booth areas, with the exception that food and drink may not be sold for consumption on the premises. Sampling of food must be approved by Management and the Ocean Center’s Centerplate Catering and Exhibitor must have a temporary health permit from Volusia County and State of Florida.

  2. Distribution of literature must be confined to each Exhibitor’s booth or his own exhibit area. Under no circumstances will sales or distribution of literature be permitted in the aisles, lobby, entrance or other public areas.

  3. No gift or prize may be given away by lot, chance or drawing under any circumstances by any Exhibitor or participant except in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, in compliance with Florida Statutes Chapter 849.

  4. Security will be on duty during hours that the exhibition is open to the Public. Notwithstanding, Management under no circumstances assumes any responsibility for any loss or damage incurred by any Exhibitor, whether by theft or otherwise.

  5. Management will not be responsible for loss from or damage to exhibits caused by fire, riot, civil commotion, acts of war, vandalism, flood, storm, leakage, failure of heating, air conditioning, light, power or refrigeration or other occurrences beyond its control.

  6. No Exhibitor shall sublet to or share leased space with any third-party without the prior knowledge and written consent of Management.

  7. Noisy or offensive exhibits are prohibited. Microphones are prohibited, unless permission is given by Management prior to their use.

  8. Exhibitor shall maintain adequate limits of insurance, determined by Management in its discretion, for general liability, including products and completed operations and workers’ compensation for all employees and subcontractors of Exhibitor that may perform services for the Exhibitor at the Exhibition. Exhibitor may be required to provide Management proof of such insurance.
